Sina.com.cn ran this rather stunning picture above along with the following information about Miss Li.

Li Bingbing: In recent years she has played an active role in public welfare projects serving as “Charity Ambassador” in one, and in 2009, launched a public service brand called, “LOVE” to facilitate more involvement by enterprises and institutions in charities, welfare projects and work for the protection of the Earth.

On March 28th, Li bingbing participated in the “Earth Hour” program urged people to join the world’s largest environmental protection movement. To paraphrase Miss Li she mentions that what she has done so far is not enough but will continue to strive to promote environmental protection and hopes through her efforts it will inspire others to join the cause.

On March 29th, Sina.com.cn, reported that Li Bingbing and Jet Li met in Chengdu to prepare for several public service annoucement ads which will be entitled “Sichuan’s still beautiful.” These commercials will commemorate the first anniversary of the tragic earthquake that befell China in 2008.

Perhaps one of the greatest honors of running this site, BingbingLi.com, has to be the simple fact that Miss Li Bingbing has been such an admirable human being. While many celebrities throughout the world have made it a point to focus on their own lives in a vain attempt as self-promotion, Miss Li has selflessly devoted herself to charitable causes such as UNICEF, the earthquake relief efforts for the ravaged areas of China hit last year, and in general, to helping others less fortunate than herself.  A serving heart she has made it a point to always look for ways to inspire hope in the youth of China (and by extension in people everywhere) and help others to dream big, to hold onto their dreams, and to keep striving with the faith to persevere.

At this time when people throughout the world are looking for reasons to stay positive amidst the economic downturn in the global economy, it is important to remember that sometimes the strongest force we have are our beliefs. They can lift us, sustain us, help us endure that which we believe can not endure, give us hope and an inner strength to continue despite the greatest of odds.

Our dreams can do that. Our convictions can make this happen. And our love and passion can enoble us, strengthen us and help us move forward. But on top of that comes the need to believe in ourselves and to realize that all dreams are attainable.

This last part is something that is accomplished through the selfless autobiography that Li Bingbing has provided explaining her humble origins, her growth from a young girl in China, the heartbreaks, setbacks, lessons and continuing struggles that took her from a state of awkward youth to one of the leading stars in Asia. According to sina.com.cn, there was a reveal of a new wax figurine by Madame Tussauds Wax Museum which has opened a branch in Shanghai. The interesting thing is the figurine is of none other than Li Bingbing. The problem is: from the looks of the picture it really does not seem to accurately portray Li Bingbing’s asian beauty, but looks more anglo in features. Hopefully Madame Tussauds will redo the face a bit. Do you agree? Look at the picture on the right and let us know if you think the figure looks a bit too non-asian.

This first one looks sort of asian. But not at all like Li Bingbing. However look at the second picture if you are not convinced.

So far the news about Miss Li Bingbing has been pretty scarce these last several weeks. However we did happen to come across an interesting video that seems to talk about Miss Li’s new music career. This looks like a pretty interesting video. Too bad we don’t speak Chinese or there would be a translation. However it’s still an interesting video. This was taken from the Chinese site, YouKu.com which really bears a “striking” resemblance to a certain popular video website owned by Google.com. Enjoy.

After watching Miss Li speaking it’s pretty good motivation to want to learn Chinese.

In a conference Haidie Group CEO, Mr Li Peng and Bi Xiao Shi, (also on the scen), said, “Bingbing Li is an excellent artist, and since she has entered the Haidie group she has worked very hard. When Bingbing Li joined Haidi she did not rush to record a record but spent a year in preparation before finally producing a debut album. Bingbing Li said she is very new to the field of music, and is very happy with this opportunity to study, and with the help of I Shixiong Lin Jun Jie she has been able to learn a lot. June 11, actress Bingbing Li will be releasing her first solo album. This reporter learned yesterday that  the album is to be released by the end of June while Miss Li was shooting album’s title song “The Love of his Life” at MV Studios. Bingbing Li was wearing a white gown at the time and looked like an angel surrounded by a beautiful screen and hundreds of lit meditation candles.

“The love of his life” is by Shixiong Lin Jun Jie. This is a personal love theme song created by MV from Taiwan and directed by the famous director Lam Kam; the design is also by Jiang Yipeng  from Taiwan.  Bingbing Li said, “I like Mr Lam’s and the MV shooting style and the melody created by Lin Jun Jie Shi Xiong Qimei is also like Korean dramas.

For Bingbing Li to make “The love of his life” is a lot of hard work. To capture the most beautiful lighting conditions Bingbing Li and the MV crew members had to get up at 5:00 am for the 7:00 am shoot. In the studio, the director also invited a string ensemble along with a pianist to the set as Miss Li’s accompaniment.

With regard to the expectations of the new album, Bingbing said, “This is his life in the first album, the feelings are not the same, I do feel like this album is also a learning process.”

《一生的爱》是由同门师兄林俊杰 亲自操刀创作的一首大爱主题歌曲，其MV由台湾著名导演林锦和执导，造型设计也是由台湾著名企划江一朋先生亲自打理。李冰冰表示：很喜欢林锦和拍摄MV的风格，师兄林俊杰创作的旋律也凄美得像韩剧，自己很喜欢。

李冰冰为《一生的爱》MV吃了不少苦。为了争取最美的光线，李冰冰和MV剧组成员清晨5点就起床，7点开拍。在片场，导演还请来了弦乐团现场为李冰冰伴奏，钢琴的伴奏，更是烘托出磅礴大气的旋律。

There are 31 new Bingbing Li photos now uploaded to the Publicity Album. These shots were taken from Picasaweb.google.com, and date back to a January 2008 promotion of Bingbing Li’s new movie, Linger (2008).

On May 22, Bing-Bing Li attended a fashion of a party in Hong Kong, wearing a dark-coloured clothes as sign of mourning for the people affected by the Sichuan to the earthquake. Although it has been more than a week since the earthquake Bingbing still mourns as the disaster brought great sadness everyone. But Bingbing said she also felt very proud about being Chinese because the Chinese people’s ability to band together, hand-in-hand to face this tragedy together.

Bingbing Li also urged that people work together to help those in need.
