OMG!!! On the set of RE5 n I just saw Bingbing Li in her “Ada Wong” costume! She’s INSANELY gorgeous n we’re just so lucky 2 hve her! What an amaZing cast, this is getting better n better everyday! *jumping up n down! (well, almost! Lol!)

We’ve added a bunch of new characters from the game, so they need time to develop. Hopefully we’ll get 2 do another RE w them!

For the last year we have heard about Li Bingbing starring in the new movie, “Snow Flower and the Secret Fan” based on Lisa See’s book of the same title. But now we finally get to see an official trailer. What is amazing about this trailer is that it is thought-provoking (and if you have not read the novel) and it is also utterly confusing. We see the actresses play several roles here. Both Miss Li Bingbing and South Korean actress and model, Jun Ji-Hyun, are apparently playing more than a few roles apiece. Take a look and decide for yourself how you feel about it. We think you will agree that it is something new and different.

Casting rumors continue as Li Bingbing expresses pleasant surprise about Venice

According to Sina.com.cn, Miss Li Bingbing was interviewed regarding a few topics related to casting and her new film, Detective Dee. In respect to the most recent rumors and speculations regarding the casting of the new film, “Fugative,” Miss Li is apparently still awaiting news regarding the casting. So at this time things may still be in the works regarding the casting of that film. Her most recently to-be-released film, “Detective Dee” is apparently the only Chinese film to be nominated at the 67th Venice Film Festival. According to the article, Miss Li expressed that she was very surprised and pleased by the news. When pressed further as to the prospects of Miss Li winning a Best Actress award, she proved to be very modest (and tactful) in her response: she mentioned she would be “very happy”, but also that if she did win she would be happy that the award would help promote Chinese films around the world.

According to Sina.com.cn, Miss Li Bingbing spent time on August 12, 2010, to speak about women’s health and to unveil her line of sportswear. An advocate of Yoga, Miss Li called for women to join in the self-improvement movement, but being healthier. Miss Li formally signed up with Adidas last March and has launched a series of yoga and dance-themed print ads. To paraphrase the article, Miss Li attributes this “Be Better” campaign with helping her to also become more mentally and physically stronger which has only helped her perform better in front of the camera.

In China the new “Karate Kid” movie is known as “Kung-Fu Dreams” — which quite honestly makes a lot more sense especially if you are going to market it to a Chinese audience. Showing her support for her friend Jackie Chan, Miss Li was present at the event to help promote the film. With this sort of collaborative spirit, is it any wonder why Miss Li has become one of the leading stars in Asia? The rest of the stars of the movie were on hand. Enjoy.
