For those people who may not have seen the movie (yet), The Forbidden Kingdom (2008), is one martial art film worth watching. Starring Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Liu Yifei and (of course) Bingbing Li, it is one martial art film that has done well both in the United States as well as abroad. Due to its success the producers plan to move forward with a sequel where the relationship between Bingbing Li’s character, Ni Chang, and Jet Li’s character are in a relationship. Not much more is known about this sequel at this time.

Tuesday, May 20th, 2008At a recent March event covered by, sohu.com, the cast and director for The Forbidden Kingdom showed up to talk about the film, Jackie Chan and Jet Li’s collaboration, and how the East is learning a lot through Hollywood’s production values. Throughout the event Jackie Chan was apparently cracking jokes with Jet Li.
