On hand were other celebrities such as Maggie Cheung and Zhao Wei. To paraphrase the article: even though the global economy is not doing very well right now this economic crisis has did not hampered China’s large scale demand for luxury goods. 798 Chinese factories participated in the celebration. On hand were other celebrities such as Charlize Theron, Eva Green, Maggie Cheung, Michelle Yeoh, LI Bing-bing, and Zhao Wei. These celebrities were on hand to provide their comments about the different designs throughout the night. While much of the humor reflected American and European sensibilities their efforts were appropriate for the occasion. Li Bingbing, Maggie Cheung, and Zhao Wei also used this time to talk about how the newer generations of Chinese actors and actresses should prepare so that the industry can continue to grow.
